What Families Are Saying

The first word about GCA that comes to mind about GCA is home. You come here everyday and it is your home away from home.

Grace is truly a unique experience, first and foremost, because you are getting that christian foundation laid, if that is what you are looking for, it's here.

Still Have Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

What grades does Grace Christian Academy serve?

GCA serves students from K3 through 12th grade over two campuses, located just over one mile apart — including our new East Campus dedicated to preschool and kindergarten. Families can begin their child's journey with us as early as age three and walk all the way through high school graduation.

What makes GCA different from other schools in the area?

GCA is the only private, Christian school within an hour of Bainbridge offering a college-preparatory, Christ-centered education from K3 through 12th grade. Every subject is taught through the lens of Scripture, students attend daily Bible classes and weekly chapel, and our smaller class sizes mean your child is genuinely known by their teachers and coaches.

How much does tuition cost?

Tuition at GCA is intentionally accessible for a private Christian education. Rates for the current year range from $3,020 for Half-Day K3 to $6,620 for high school, with K5 at $5,530 and grades 1–5 at $6,350. We also offer significant family discounts: 10% off for a second child, 50% off for a third, and a fourth child attends free. You can use our Tuition Calculator on the Admissions page for a personalized estimate.

Are scholarships or financial aid available?

Yes. GCA participates in the GOAL Scholarship Program, which redirects Georgia state income tax dollars to fund scholarships for students attending accredited private schools. You can learn more on our GOAL Scholarship page or ask us about it during your tour.

What does the admissions process look like?

Most families follow a simple path: Inquiry → Campus Tour → Application → Family Interview → Acceptance. We'll walk you through each step, and the whole process is designed to help you and our team determine whether GCA is the right fit for your family.

When does enrollment open?

Open enrollment for new students begins in mid-February and runs throughout the summer. We encourage families to inquire early, as some grade levels fill quickly.

How will my child grow spiritually at GCA?

Faith isn't a separate class at GCA — it's woven into everything. Students attend daily Bible instruction and weekly chapel services, and every subject is taught from a biblical worldview. Our families come from approximately 40 churches across Bainbridge and surrounding communities, creating a community grounded in shared values.

Will GCA prepare my child for college?

Yes. GCA is a college-preparatory school, and our high school program is built to equip students for whatever comes next — whether that's a four-year university, a trade, or ministry. Students graduate ready to think critically, lead with character, and pursue excellence in every area.

What athletic programs do you offer?

GCA Cougars compete in 12 sports across fall and spring seasons, including football, basketball, volleyball, cross country, cheer, dance, baseball, soccer, golf, tennis, wrestling, and bass fishing. Our coaches share our biblical values and teach athletes how to win and lose with character.

Are there opportunities in the arts?

Absolutely. Preschool and elementary students enjoy weekly music and art, and middle and high school students can participate in chorus, drama, and praise band.

What are class sizes like?

GCA is intentionally small, which is one of the things our families love most. Smaller classes mean teachers can give personalized attention, build real relationships with students, and make sure no child gets overlooked.

What is the school environment like? Do students wear uniforms?

GCA has a relaxed, family-like atmosphere — no uniforms required — paired with high expectations for behavior and academic rigor. Visitors often comment on how warm and welcoming the campus feels the moment they walk in.

How far do families typically travel to attend GCA?

Most of our families live in Bainbridge and Decatur County, but we have students who drive 30 to 40 miles each day because they believe the GCA difference is worth it.

How do I schedule a tour?

We'd love to show you around. Fill out the inquiry form on this page and our admissions team will reach out within one business day to schedule your visit.
